CHIPOLOPOLO striker Emmanuel Mayuka says he wants to concentrate on his football to give the best for the team in the future.
Mayuka who plays for Southampton in England said on his facebook page that he still believed that his time would come.
He described Chipolopolo’s 1-1 draw against Lesotho in the 2014 Brazil world cup qualifier as a disappointing result adding that Chipolopolo deserved to win the match.
“I’m concentrating on my football to be at my best for the future. I know that my time will come. On Sunday, it was a disappointing result for us. We were so close to getting all three points that I believe we deserved,” Mayuka twitted.
Mayuka has only made seven appearances for Southampton since joining the team from Young Boys of Switzerland last year.
The 22 year old striker who was an unused sub in the Lesotho game has not made any appearance for Southampton since returning from the Africa Cup.
He has however vowed to remain at Southampton and fight for a starting place in the team.
