Northern Province Medical Officer Jelita Chinyonga confirmed the development to Zambia News and Information Services (ZANIS) today.
Doctor Chinyonga said the cases recorded so far are two from Kasama, one from Mungwi while the other one is believed to have come from Lusaka.
The Provincial Medical officer described the condition of the four victims admitted as stable.
The Doctor urged the general public to be practising good hygiene methods in order to prevent the disease.
She said a team of health officials has already been constituted to sensitize the public on the dangers of the disease.
Dr Chinyonga also appealed to people not to panic saying the situation is under control.
She said one symptom is fever and urged people to rush to the hospital if they suspect to have typhoid.
