The opposition United Party for National Development (UPND) says from now going forward, they will start treating Presidential Spokesperson Amos Chanda as a political opponent.

The opposition political party says this is because of the fact that Mr. Chanda has failed to differentiate between public service and politics.

UPND Chairman for Rural Reconstruction and Development Moono Mapani says Mr. Chanda should realize that he is a civil servant and he should stay away from politics.

Mr. Mapani, who is also a Human Rights Lawyer, tells QTV News that it is worrying that the Presidential Aide attacked the judiciary and later President Lungu supported him.

He says this is a clear indication that the party in power want to be interfering with the judiciary.
