President Edgar Lungu has urged the Police to arrest anyone harassing officials who are conducting the National Registration Cards and voter registration.
The Head of State said he has received information from Central province that officials from the two institutions are being harassed.
He said Police should arrest any law breakers in the country.
The President says he will not tolerate harassment of National registration card and Electoral Commission officers.
And President Lungu says he is happy that Traditional leaders are taking an interest in the two processes.
The President was speaking when he paid a courtesy call on Chief Mumena.
He said he is happy that Chief Mumena wants to see the two national projects succeed.
And Chief Mumena said he is Happy with President Lungu’s governance style.
He said the President had given an opportunity to all tribes in his government.
