First Secretary for Administration at the Zambian High Commission Botswana Theresa Funga has died.
Ms. Funga 48 died in her sleep during the early hours of yesterday in Gaborone, Botswana.
Zambian High Commissioner to Botswana Brigadier General Patrick Tembo confirmed the death of Ms Funga to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Lusaka yesterday.
And Foreign Affairs Permanent Secretary Ambassador Chalwe Lombe says his Ministry is working with the Zambian High Commission in Botswana in facilitating the process of bringing the body to Zambia for burial.
Ms Funga is survived by two children and one grandchild.
The funeral of the late Ms Funga is being held in Lusaka’s Makeni area at her uncle’s house.

Meanwhile, Police and Prisons Service Commission Chairperson Alexander Museba has died.
Mr. Museba died yesterday, on August 29, 2015.
Police and Prisons Service Commission Secretary Greatson Chipalo who has confirmed the death says funeral gathering is at house number 13 Manenekela Road in Lusaka’s Woodlands area.
Mr. Museba served in various portfolios in Government including that of Commissioner of Police at State House during the tenure of late President Fredrick Chiluba.
