PF Deputy Secretary General Mumbi Phiri has described the party on the Copperbelt as strong, sound and intact.
And Mrs. Phiri has urged Zambian women to join the patriotic front because of its sound gender policy.
Mrs. Phiri says the patriotic front is the only party in the country which has embraced women as equal partners in national development.
She says this is evident by the high number of women serving in government and the party’s rank and file.
She adds that government is also implementing a number of measures to better the lives of Zambian women especially those living in poverty.
And Mrs Phiri has urged members on the Copperbelt to go flat out and recruit more people ahead of the 2016 elections.
She said this in an interview with ZNBC News in Ndola.
