The body of Bernard Mumbi, a Zambian student who died in Algeria, is expected in the country on Monday March 9th 2015.
Ministry of Education spokes person Hillary Chipango has told ZNBC news that MUMBI’s body is expected to arrive at Kenneth Kaunda international airport at 14:00 hours.
Mr. Chipango says the body will upon arrival be taken to Chingola were the deceased’s parents and family are based.
He says the family will then decide the date when to put Mumbi’s body to rest.
Bernard Mumbi travelled to Algeria in 2014 to pursue a degree in Geology under the Zambia-Algeria government scholarship scheme.
While in Algeria the deceased complained of Not feeling well before travelling to a different city where his cousin lived and later went missing on February, 22nd 2015.
Mumbi was later discovered dead at a hospital in Algiers.
