Chembe, February 16, ZANIS ———- The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Services (MIBS) says it is ready to start the construction of the Zambia News and Information Services (ZANIS) Offices in Chembe District.
MIBS Principal Planner Ruth Mulenga says land has been reserved for the construction of the offices at the planed Chembe District site.
Ms Mulenga said the Ministry will soon put up an advertisement to open the tendering process.
ZANIS reports that Ms Mulenga was speaking in Chembe District when she led a team of officials from the Ministry to the site for verification of availability of land for the construction of the offices.
And MIBS Senior Planner Seddie Kabwe reviewed that the project for the construction of ZANIS Offices will be undertaken in all parts of the country.
Meanwhile, Luapula Provincial Planner under the Department of Physical Planning and Housing, Kelvin Chabulembwa has confirmed that the design of the ZANIS offices as part of the government offices has already been completed.
He said all the formalities in terms of land design and acquisition has already been attended to by the planning unit and the local council.
