PF sympathisers’ cars smashed

PROPERTY worth over K300,000 belonging to eight Patriotic Front (PF) sympathisers in Mpulungu has been damaged by unknown people.
Northern Province deputy commissioner of police Alfred Nawa said in an interview yesterday that the incident happened between 02:00 hours and 03:50 hours on Sunday.
Mr Nawa said no arrest has been made in the incident in which six vehicles were damaged and a house and a shop’s windows were broken.
Mr Nawa named the victims as Joseph Sikafunda, 45, of Muzabwela village, Gift Nanyangwe, 45, also of Muzabwela village, Julius Chilima, 28, of Mupata village, George Sikasote, 46, Crispin Chifunda, 32, and Obert Mubiyana, 38, all of Location township who all had their vehicles damaged while they were parked at home.
She named others as Keith Sinyangwe, 33, of Mupata village who had the widows to his house damaged and George Tembo, 40, who had the windows of his shop damaged.
