Zambia Sports Fans Association Chairperson Peter Makembo has advised the Chipolopolo boys not to  underrate Lesotho in the crucial 2014 FIFA Brazil World Cup qualifiers in Maseru this Sunday.

Makembo has urged the Herve Renard tutored side to be focused and win, as a win for the national team was vital.

ZANIS sports reports that Makembo said this in a telephone interview in Lusaka today .

Much as Lesotho might be at the bottom in-group D they should not be treated as a small team by Zambia, he said.

He reaffirmed that the Chipolopolo boys should work hard to defeat their opponent on Sunday if they are qualify to the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

Makembo mentioned that it was just imperative that the lads qualify to the World Cup for the first time in the history of Zambian football.

He added that his organization has since mobilised soccer fans to go and offer total support to the Chipolopolo boys as they battle it out with Lesotho.

Zambia is topping group D with six points, seconded by Ghana who are with three points with Sudan and Lesotho sharing a point each.

And on Zambia’s failure to send a Squash team to Namibia, Makembo described the development as unfortunate.

He said it was unfortunate that the country had failed to utilize the opportunity to participate in the Squash tournament, which would have been a platform to win, meddles.

The Zambia Squash Association (ZSA) was to represent the country at the All Africa Squash Junior games in Windhoek, Namibia slated for May, 2013 due to lack of funds..
