Mpumalanga Black Aces and Zambian striker Collins Mbesuma have not yet begun talks regarding the player’s new contract at the club.
The Zambia international joined the team last season after leaving Orlando Pirates, but was only given an initial one-year contract, but with the new coach at the team, the player is set to be offered a new contract.
Sources close to the player say that coach Muhsin Ertugral and his technical team have not yet finalised who they want to keep, and which players they will release.
Ertugral is currently in New Zealand attending the FIFA Under-20 World Cup. “There are no talks yet between Mbesuma and the club,” the source told Sport24.
“Maybe they will talk when they come back from the break.
“No one knows who will stay or who is leaving at the moment, but as soon as talks start, then we can know what’s going on.”
