National Assembly Patrick Matibini to reprimand Petauke Central Member of Parliament and MMD spokesperson Dora siliya over the sticking out of her middle finger in Parliament last week.
Foundation executive director Sunday Chanda said in a statement that Siliya’s action had had a negative impact on the nation especially due to the fact that even Children saw what she did as she was caught on
camera on National Television.
Chanda said what was needed was for the speaker of national Assembly to suspend Siliya from parliament as punishment for her misconduct.
Siliya has suffered criticism from various sectors of society following her action which was caught on camera when she stuck out her middle finger while they walked out of parliament during the parliamentary debate to remove former President Rupiah Banda’s Immunity.
