The Mashi Royal Establishment (MRE) of Chieftainess Masinda of Shangómbo district has sent a congratulatory message to President Michael Sata for the appointment of Sinjembela constituency Member of Parliament (MP) Poniso Njeulu as Deputy Minister of Information and Broadcasting.
The royal establishment said the appointment has come at the right time and demonstrates that the PF government was for all Zambians regardless of their tribe, race, religion, gender, and political affiliation.
This is contained in a statement issued to ZANIS in Lusaka today and endorsed by members of the establishment under the leadership of Joseph Like Kwandu.
The Mashi Royal Establishment works under the Barotse Royal Establishment (BRE) and is headed by a Ngambela, Vice Ngambela and 10 Indunas.
The Establishment said the appointment of Sinjembela MP shows that the PF government is devoted to good governance and has since pledged support for the government to allow them achieve the campaign promises and developmental agenda for the people of Zambia.
The Royal Establishment said they would not allow anybody who would try to frustrate the PF government’s policies and programmes in the district but instead will sensitise, educate and mobilise the people of Shang’ombo.
The MRE also thanked president Sata for the creation of Sioma District saying it was a clear testimony of democracy and showed devotion towards fostering development to the door steps all Zambians.
