EFZ Executive Director, Pukuta Mwanza has however told Qfm in an interview that the President should have fired Ms Masebo way back when the tribunal constituted to investigate her was set up.
Rev Mwanza notes that the manner in which the President has acted reflects commitment towards dealing with corruption or any action that compromises the integrity of public office.
He says President Sata should extend such action to any minister who is facing investigations by asking them to step down so that investigations are carried out smoothly without interference or intimidation.
Rev Mwanza has further advised other ministers to learn from what has happened to Ms Masebo by ensuring that they perform their duties with integrity and for the good of the Zambian people who they are serving through their respective portfolios.
He adds Zambians will still wait to hear the findings of the Roydah Kaoma led tribunal which was investigating Ms. Masebo.
