Patriotic Front National Chairperson Inonge Wina has called on Patriotic Front members calling for the expulsion of former Defence Minister Geoffrey Mwamba to stop.
Speaking to Q fm in an interview, Ms Wina says the party structures in Kasama have been told to stop the animosity between the party and Mr Mwamba.
Ms. Wina says Mr. Mwamba has already stated that he remains a member of the ruling party and that his position should therefore be respected.
She adds that Mr. Mwamba has the right to decide whether to remain in the party or leave.
Ms. Wina states that it is possible for one to resign from government and still remain a loyal member of the party.
She has further called on all party members to embrace love and unity.
