Vice President Inonge Wina has been challenged to explain why the Senanga Township road project she commissioned in 2016 has not commenced up to date.
Former Senanga Member of Parliament William Harrington says the people of Senanga are disappointed that since this project was launched, no construction works have ever been undertaken.
Mr. Harrington says his own investigation has revealed that the contractor who was awarded the contract was only paid to mobilize equipment on site.
In a walk-in interview, Mr. Harrington says this explains why from the time equipment was mobilized about 2-years ago, the contractor has not be able to commence the construction works.
He has since appealed to the vice president to use to ensure that funds are made available for the Senanga township road project.
