THE opposition Movement for Multi-party Democracy (MMD) says it wishes to withdraw the part payment of the presidential election nomination fee made to the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ).
But the ECZ says the payment is non-refundable.
Newly-elected MMD president Felix Mutati has said the party will not be fielding a presidential candidate in the August 11 election because it has resolved to back the Patriotic Front (PF) candidate, Edgar Lungu.
