SOME Zesco Limited employees at the head office who reported late for work yesterday scampered, while others pretended to be clients after realising that Lusaka Province Minister Bowman Lusambo was in the company premises.
Zesco’s policy states that employees should start work at 07:45 hours.
Mr Lusambo arrived at the power utility around 07:30 hours to see what time staff report for work, as well as appreciate their work culture.
But as Mr Lusambo was interacting with some staff, an employee, who was driving in after 08:00 hours, made a quick U-turned after seeing the minister and drove off.
