UPND Lusaka Province Chairperson has dismissed accusations labeled against him that he is giving offensive weapons to UPND youths in Lusaka to cause violence in the coming by-elections.
Yesterday Home Affairs Minister Stephen Kampyongo warned Mr. Mwaliteta against scheming violence by giving Taster guns and other offensive weapons to their party cadres.
Mr. Kampyongo further cited UPND Lusaka Chairman, Nattional Youth Chairperson Likando Mufalali and his deputy Gilbert Liswaniso of being the forerunners in the scheme.
But Mwaliteta told Radio Radio Chikuni that his has no appetite for violence and accused PF of scheming violence and later the UPND.
Mr. Mwaliteta has proposed for a meeting with Home Affair Minister Kampyongo so that the two leaders can agree on violence free by-elections.
