HPCZ WITHDRAWS CERTIFICATE OF APPROVAL FOR HEALTH PROGRAMMES AT APEX AND CAVENDISH UNIVERSITIES
LSK. SUN. JUNE 10. 2018
Health Professions Council of Zambia (HPCZ) has with immediate effect withdrawn Certificate of Approval for Health Programs at Apex & Cavendish Universities.
HPCZ Registrar Aaron Mujajati told Journalists in Lusaka that the council has withdrawn approval certificates for training programmes such as Bachelor of Science in pharmacy and Bachelor of Science in radiography at Apex medical university.
Dr Mujajati says while at Cavendish University, the council has withdrawn approval certificates for training programmes such as bachelor of surgery and bachelor of sciences in clinical science.
He says the decision to withdrawn the approval certificates for training programmes from the two universities followings the failure by the two institutions to meet required minimum standard set by the council for medical institutions.
