A PANEL of seven Constitutional Court judges will hear the matter in which four opposition political parties want the court’s interpretation on whether or not President Edgar Lungu is eligible to recontest the seat in 2021.
And the United Party for National Development (UPND) and the Law Association of Zambia (LAZ) have asked the Constitutional Court to dismiss the matter in which four opposition political parties want the court’s interpretation on whether or not President Lungu is eligible to stand in 2021.
When the case came up, a panel of judges was reconstituted to seven from five, with the inclusion of justices Palan Mulonda and Martine Musaluke.
