The number of Evelyn Hone College students arrested in Lusaka over the unrest at the institution has increased to 303.
Last night, police picked up a further 207 students, for breaking college and other public properties, after the arrest of 1-hundred and 24 students earlier in the day.
This was when the students rioted in protest over the alleged irregularities in the results of their TEVETA November-December 2017 examinations.
Police Spokesperson, Esther Katongo has told ZNBC news that the number of those arrested has increased to 3-hundred and 3, after Wednesday night’s arrests.
Ms. Katongo has explained that from those arrested Wednesday night, 1-hundred and 19 are males and the rest are females.
She says the students caused damage to Evelyn Hone College infrastructure, the boundary fence for NIPA, before they proceeded to ZCAS, in their rioting.
