UPND has entered PF’s bedroom – Mwaliteta
The United Party for National Development (UPND) has revealed that over 2,000 members from the PF, MMD and Rainbow party in Eastern Province defected to the UPND over the weekend.
UPND Lusaka Province Chairperson Obvious Mwaliteta tells Chikuni Radio News that UPND showed how weak the PF is in Eastern Province during its party card renewal exercise last weekend.
Mr. Mwaliteta reveals UPND was shocked with the large number of people that attended the card renewal in the Province.
He claims that Eastern Province is no longer a stronghold for the PF as UPND has now penetrated in the region.
He adds that UPND President Hakainde Hichilema received gifts of fruits from the local farmers which symbolize their willingness to work with UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema in revamping the agriculture sector.
