The civil society constitution agenda (CISCA) has advised President Edgar Lungu to be careful of wrong people who surround him.
CISCA Chairperson Bishop John Mambo has wondered why president Lungu is playing to the gallery with issues, which he said is capable of consuming the whole country.
Bishop Mambo is disappointed that president Lungu lacks the political will to fight corruption that has dogged the nation for decades.
He is worried that no cabinet minister has ever been reported for the vice, after president lungu said he had received reports linking some ministers to corrupt activities.
Bishop Mambo says it is mere pretence by the head of state to claim that he is serious about fighting corruption.
He says there has never been the political will to fight corruption in this country.
Bishop Mambo says this is because the major players hold the levers of power.
He says president Lungu has a responsibility of redeeming his image before the people of Zambia because time is running out for him.
And bishop Mambo says time has come for Zambia to challenge what he termed as bad leadership, or be doomed for the rest of their lives.
He says those looting Zambia needs to be stopped thus it is urgent for the youths to rise up to the challenge of halting the corruption and ineptitude of the nation’s rulers.
