SOUTH African boxer Gabisile Tshabalala says she will dethrone Catherine Phiri when they clash in the World Boxing Council (WBC) gold bantamweight title fight in Lusaka on Saturday.
In an interview on arrival at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport in Lusaka yesterday, Tshabalala said she is in Zambia to carry the belt to South Africa.
“I am the best female boxer in the world. This is a big fight for me, my family and fans back home [South Africa]. I’m not afraid of her [Catherine], I have watched her fights, I will beat her,” she said.
