It is unfortunate how the church has made itself so cheap to become a tool in the hands of politicians. There is nothing wrong in a Christian supporting one candidate in an election as long as he or she does not join the dirty game of hatred, malice and falsehood. This is why it is practically impossible for a practising Christian to be a leader of a political party.
Go and ask the Nevers Mumba and Dan Pule of this world if at one time or the other they did not compromise the faith in their defence of the organisations they represented . l have also heard that there are Christians for Lungu.
Why are men and women of God so desperate for brown envelopes and political favours? of the God you represent in ths world andevn calle by his name cannot help you then you are the most miserable person. Those calling themselves Christians for Lungu and are busy in campaigns have been giving excuses why they cannot get involved in evangelism. You have failed to be a Christian for Christ and now want to be a Christian for a human being. May God have mercy on this generation.
