Police have launched investigations into a case of aggravated robbery and murder which occurred at Los Angeles night Club in Kanyama last night.
Police Deputy Spokesperson Rae Hamoonga in a statement says it is alleged that an unknown number of criminals attacked the three security guards on duty killing one of them identified as Peter Phiri aged between 30 and 35.
Mr. Hamoonga says the other two identified as Nyambe Liswaniso Kainga and Evans Sikombe both aged between 50 and 60 have been seriously injured and are nursing wounds at the University Teaching Hospital (UTH).
He says the criminals went away with two flat screen television sets and undisclosed sum of money.
Mr. Hamoonga has named the owner of the night club as Onilly Woods Sakala of Matero, and that the body of the deceased is lying in University Teaching Hospital Mortuary.
