Suspected UPND cadres who camped on Lusaka’s Bwiinjimfumu road have allegedly inflicted damage on a vehicle belonging to a Chongwe man.
The vehicle had windows smashed and part of its body damaged.
Nebert Shawa the owner of the vehicle has told ZNBC News in Lusaka today that the suspected UPND cadres pounced on him as he was driving on Bwinjimfumu road today ( May 9th).
Meanwhile Lusaka Province Police Chief Nelson Phiri has warned political parties cadres against engaging in acts of violence.
Mr. Phiri said Zambians reserve the right to belong to any political party as Zambia is a democratic nation.
He has also called on Mr Shawa whose vehicle has been tampered with, by suspected UPND cadres to report to the police for culprits to be brought to book.
