Patriotic Front Deputy Secretary General Mumbi Phiri says the PF is not surprised that former Vice President Guy Scott has endorsed UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema’s candidature in the 2016 General election.
Mrs Phiri says the PF is ware that Dr Scott has personal hatred for President Edgar Lungu.
Speaking in an interview with ZNBC News in Lusaka, Mrs Phiri says Dr Scott should have been brave enough to resign from PF instead of just endorsing Mr Hichilema while he remains in the PF.
Meanwhile, PF Deputy Spokesperson Frank Bwalya says Democratic Front leader Miles Sampa and former Vice President Guy Scott who have resolved to work with Mr Hichilema are not political factors.
Mr Bwalya says Mr Sampa has an insatiable thirst for leadership while Dr Scott is irrelevant to the political discourse saying he left the PF before the January 20, 2015, Presidential election.
He said the two leaders opposed to President Lungu because they were allegedly interested in the presidency, after the death of President Michael Sata in 2014.

I personally the moment I realise that a person is not a factor in my life I do not even spell his/her name so, mama if indeed they are not factors please let them be kuti mwaisuma mukulanda “non factors” every day.
