President Edgar Lungu says the constitutional court has a huge task to interpret contentious clauses in the amended constitution especially with the coming August General election.
And the President says the Constitutional Court will have to immediately interpret the Grade 12 clause in the amended constitution for the benefit of the nation.
President Lungu says this is because almost everyone has been busy debating the Grade 12 clause.
The President was speaking at State House when he swore in Supreme Court Judge Hildah Chibomba as President of the Constitutional Court.
The President has also sworn in High Court judges Mungeni Mulenga and Anne Sitali as constitutional Court Judges.
Other Constitutional Court Judges that took oath are Palan Mulonda and Enoch Mulembe.
The Head of State said the Executive will ensure that it does its best to make the Constitutional Court Judges go to work.
