Minister of Higher Education Michael Kaingu says the University of Zambia-UNZA- and the Copperbelt University- CBU- will open once modalities for opening are put in place.
The Minister was speaking in the Israeli town of RUPPIN when he addressed Copperbelt University Students undertaking AGRO Studies.
Dr Kaingu urged the students to put into practice what they will learn and help improve the agriculture sector in Zambia.
And students’ representative Joseph Mbewe said the students are looking forward to starting their own farms once they return to Zambia.
And CBU Vice Chancellor Nason Ngoma said the University has acquired land which will be used as demonstration centres.
Professor Ngoma said the land will enable students to practice what they will learn.
