A 17-YEAR-OLD boy of Chilembo Village in Isoka has committed suicide after his parents found out that he was allegedly having an affair with his 17-year-old aunt.
Muchinga Province commissioner of police Auxensio Daka said in an interview yesterday that the incident happened on Friday around 20:00 hours at Chilembo Village.
Mr Daka identified the deceased as Cascius Siame, a Grade Nine pupil at Muchinga Secondary School in Isoka.
“Cascius was allegedly involved in an affair with his 17-year-old aunt of Chiwanda Village in Isoka. But when he learnt that his parents had discovered their affair, he decided to kill himself,” Mr Daka said.
He said police do not suspect any foul play and that relatives were advised to proceed with burial.
