THE Lusaka magistrates’ court has discharged Lusaka lawyer Nelly Mutti on all the 33 counts of theft, uttering and forgery.
Magistrate Humphrey Chitalu discharged Ms Mutti on all the counts yesterday afternoon after the State informed him that the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) had issued a nolle prosequi.
Ms Mutti was in this matter facing 33 counts of theft, forgery and uttering a false document amounting to more than K35 million.
