Powerball winner Marie Holmes got a lot of public flak for bailing out her criminal boyfriend…twice.
Now her drug-dealing beau has been arrested for a third time, reports WRAL station.
Lamarr Andre McDow, who is reportedly engaged to Holmes, has been charged with possession of a firearm by a felon and was reportdly processed out of the jail.
McDow had previously spent four months in jail last year on drug charges until Holmes won $188 million playing the Powerball lottery and paid his $3 million bond.
Holmes, a 26-year-old mother of four, reportedly paid his $6 million bond in August after he was arrested for violating curfew.
It’s not clear whether Holmes bailed him out this time around.
This past summer, Holmes slammed critics who took issue with her decision to bail her man out.
“What Y’all need to be worried about is Y’all money and not how I spend mine this is benefitting Y’all how? And no he’s no drug dealer or user but who are Y’all to judge anybody?” she reportedly wrote on Facebook.
“I will definitely pray for Y’all because it’s much need…they talked about Jesus so I’m not surprised Y’all are talking about me but be blessed though.”
McDow, who goes by the street name “Hot Sauce,” was one of three suspects arrested in November 2014 as part of a year-long investigation. He was charged with trafficking heroin and possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver heroin.
McDow’s criminal history includes convictions for assault on a female, assault and several counts of drug possession dating back to 2000.
According to WECT Station Holmes, too, was arrested was charged with drug possession alongside McDow back in July.
