Lusaka Province Police Commissioner Charity Katanga has acknowledged that police are in receipt of a letter from Enoch Kavindele Junior, withdrawing his complainant against President Lungu’s political advisor, Kaizer Zulu over a shooting incident in Lusaka
However, Ms Katanga says Police are waiting for the two Kavindele brothers to withdraw the case against Mr. Zulu formally because what they have done is informal.
Meanwhile Enoch Kavindele Junior has apologized to President Lungu for the embarrassment caused him following the shooting incident involving Mr. Zulu.
Mr. Kavindele has thanked the Police for their efficiency and professionalism in handling the matter.
He told ZNBC News in a statement today that he and Mr. Zulu have reconciled and have put the past behind them.
He said he shall not be available to comment or bear witness to the incident after the withdrawal of the matter from Woodlands Police Station on September 29, 2015.
