Information Minister Chishimba Kambwili took some time off to poke fun at opposition Rainbow Party after the Patriotic Front secured a resounding victory in the just concluded Lubansenshi By-elections.
Kambwili congratulated the Rainbow Party for having finally participated on Parliamentary level months after they won a local government seat in Isoka.
“Congratulations are in order for the Rainbow party, it’s nice for you to finally participate in a parliamentary by-election.
Although it is very different from the ward elections you celebrated heavily about, nonetheless you gave it a shot and realised that it is not as easy as making a statement in the media to say Lubansenshi is yours.” Kambwili said.
And Kambwili has told the Wynter Kabimba led political grouping it will be it will be 1000 times harder for them to secure a 1% in the 2016 general elections.
“All the same congratulations and we look forward to meeting you in 2016, where it will be 1000x harder to even win 1% of the vote.” he said on his facebook page.
Kambwili is one of the handful of senior government officials who leads a fairly colourful social media where he occasionally interacts with people.
