A 49-YEAR-OLD Lusaka man has pleaded not guilty to a charge of having sex with a dog. Michael Bwalya of an unknown residential address but in Mtendere’s Ma Plot area is in this matter charged with one count of unnatural offences contrary to the Laws of Zambia. Allegations are that Bwalya on August 31, this year, in Lusaka, had carnal knowledge of Lax, a mongrel.
It is alleged that Bwalya was caught in the act with the named dog by the owner of the pet. However, when the matter came up for plea before magistrate Jennifer Bwalya on Thursday, Bwalya denied having committed the offence. Magistrate Bwalya adjourned the matter to October 8 for commencement of trial.
