There is no condom shortage

Government has refuted claims that there is a condom shortages in some clinics in Lusaka.
Ministry of Health Deputy Minister Chitalu Chilufya said it was not true that there were shortages of condoms as government had been supplying adequate medical materials including condoms to health facilities through the medical stores.
‘’Government through the medical stores with support from other suppliers have been supplying medical materials to all facilities, so be rest be assured that there is no shortage of condoms, ‘’he said.
He assured members of the public that government was doing everything possible to ensure that health centers running low on stocks of condoms were provided with adequate medical materials.

‘’Any health centre running low on medical supplies has access to urgent supplies. As a Ministry we have emergency methods of addressing such circumstances” he said.
Some Lusaka residents have alleged that some clinics were running low on stocks of condoms.
