TITLE-CHASING Zesco United, Power Dynamos and Zanaco today face tough opposition when the MTN Super Division enters round 21.
Leaders Zesco are away to Red Arrows, Power Dynamos tackle ‘Mighty’ Mufulira Wanderers and third-placed Zanaco engage Napsa Stars.
The reigning champions have 46 points, four better than Power, while Zanaco have 39 points.
In a relegation battle, Konkola Blades host National Assembly.
ARROWS v ZESCO
After putting up a virtuoso performance in the 5-3 win over Nkana, Zesco face tricky Arrows at Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka.
Zesco coach George Lwandamina is expected to keep faith in the same team that bashed Nkana and usual suspects Winston Kalengo and Jackson Mwanza will lead the hunt for goals.
The two were on target in the bashing of Nkana.
Kalengo is the Super Division topscorer with nine goals at par with Green Eagles Adamson Mulao.
Cletus Chama, Mwape Mwelwa and Justin Zulu, who all hit the net last Saturday, are sure starters in Lusaka.
But in Francis Kombe, Bruce Musakanya, Festus Mbewe and Daniel Sibande, Arrows have match winners and the David Odhiambo-marshalled defence should be tight to protect goalkeeper Jacob Banda.
WANDERERS v POWER
With Shinde Stadium closed due to crowd trouble, Wanderers will seek hitting the ground running at Luanshya’s Kafubu Stadium when they face Power.
Smarting from the 1-2 loss to Green Eagles, Wanderers will throw everything at Power.
But Power will look to Luka Lungu, Martin Phiri, Julius Situmbeko, Kennedy Mudenda and skipper Emmanuel Chimpinde to keep Zesco in sight.
The first leg in Kitwe ended 1-1. Wanderers are seventh with 29 points.
NAPSA v ZANACO
Zanaco have a seemingly easy fixture when they face Napsa Stars at Woodlands Stadium in Lusaka.
The bankers battered Napsa Stars 4-0 in the first leg and are favourites to carry the day oncemore.
But Napsa, lying third from bottom on 19 points, will take the match to Zanaco to ensure victory.
NKANA v EAGLES
The teams had different results last Saturday with Nkana losing to Zesco while Eagles feasted on Wanderers and the Kitwe side will be eager to bounce back to winning ways.
On the log, Eagles are eighth with 28 points, three better than Nkana who are 10th.
Elsewhere, relegation-threatened Nchanga Rangers engage Nkwazi, Green Buffaloes face Lusaka Dynamos at Independence Stadium, Konkola Blades host National Assembly and Nakambala Leopards welcome Forest Rangers.
