REMAINS of the four miners who died in an underground mine accident at Mopani Copper Mines (MCM) South Ore Body Shaft in Kitwe a fortnight ago will be buried tomorrow at Nkana East Cemetery in Kitwe.

The search team retrieved some remains of the quartet and a Cubex drill rig the four were using on the fateful night when they were buried alive after a rock caved in.
Copperbelt Minister Mwenya Musenge confirmed in Kitwe yesterday that the burial procession will start with a church service at Nkana Stadium in Kitwe.

Kitwe district commissioner Chanda Kabwe has urged Kitwe residents to give the four miners a dignified send-off as the nation puts a close to a tragedy that has kept bereaved families in an agonising wait.
