ONE person has died while 14 others are nursing injuries in Chingola after a Mitsubishi Rosa minibus they were travelling on overturned.
The deceased, only identified as Mambwe, died on arrival at Nchanga General Hospital on Sunday.
Copperbelt commissioner of police Joyce Kasosa said in an interview yesterday that the accident happened on Sunday along Kasompe Road in Chingola near a railway crossing.
She said 14 other passengers sustained injuries and are admitted to Nchanga North General and South Hospitals while 15 others were treated and discharged.
Ms Kasosa said the driver of the vehicle lost control as a result of excessive speeding.
