Foreign Affairs Minister Harry Kalaba says Zambia will open a mission in Uganda next year.
Mr Kalaba says Zambia needs to have its presence in countries whose economies are growing at a faster rate.
He says Uganda’s economy has in recent years experienced rapid economic growth.
The Foreign Affairs Minister says Uganda has also assured him that it will open a mission in Zambia.
He says Zambia will also revive the exchange programmes like the one between the University of Zambia and Makerere University.
Mr Kalaba says Zambia may also replicate Uganda’s move to manufacture HIV drugs locally.
