Ruling Patriotic Front (PF ) member Charity Banda has hailed First Lady Esther Lungu for her humility and always putting God first in whatever she does.
Speaking in an interview with ZANIS in Lusaka yesterday , Ms Banda said she is impressed with the First Lady’s humility and humbleness in always seeks God first in everything she does.
Ms. Banda said Mrs Lungu was one lady who always asked for prayer before and after an event saying it was this that had moved her personally to admire the First Lady personally.
it was gratifying to not Mrs Lungu was a humble and conducted herself in accordance with her name sake in the Bible book of Esther who was obedient and always prayed to God in whatever situation she faced .
The PF cadre said it was gratifying that Mrs Lungu was an example of what women leadership was saying it was only through humility and hard work women in the country could become key players of development in the country.
She also praised Dora Siliya , the newly elected Petuake Central MP for being elected as PF MP for the area. She said although she has not worked with Ms Siliya her long political career was a step in the right direction for the benefit of the country .
Ms Banda said together with the new PF MP for Mulobezi Constituency in Western Province Patricia Mulasikwanda, Ms Siliya would help push the PF development agenda forward adding that she was ready to work hand in hand with new MPs in whatever capacity.
She also expressed her gratitude to President Lungu’s administration for appointing more women among them Chief Justice Irene Chibesakunda, among others a development she said is unprecedented in the history of this country.
