Patriotic Front Media and Publicity Committee Vice Chairperson Sunday Chanda has refuted claims by FODEP Executive Director Mcdonald Chipenzi that President Lungu breached article 39 of the constitution when he appointed Mulenga Sata as cabinet Deputy Minister.
In a statement , Mr. Chanda says Mr. Sata is an eligible Minister because the article says it is only a losing MP who should not be appointed as cabinet Minister and not a councilor.
Mr. Chanda has charged that the allegations are unfounded because there is no sufficient evidence to prove that the head of state allegedly breached the republican constitution.
He has since challenge Mr. Chipenzi to be honest and objective when providing checks and balances to government for the betterment of Zambians.
Mr. Chanda has further called on those criticizing president Lungu to work with him instead because he did not put himself in office.
Even if he is not , something else equivalent will be found. He is humble.
