President Edgar Lungu was on Thursday morning among four Heads of state that laid wreaths at the Mozambique’s heroes Square in MAPUTO.
ZNBC’s Ellen Humbuba reports from Maputo, that President Lungu arrived at heroes square at about 08:45 hours to lay his wreath in honor of the First President of Mozambique Samora Marchel.
Mozambican president Filipe Nyusi was first to lay a wreath followed by President Lungu.
Other presidents that laid wreath at the heroes square include Zimbabwe’s President Robert Mugabe, Namibian president Hage Ghegbo, Tanzanian President Jakaya Kikwete.
Others that laid wreath were former heads of state from Tanzania, Mozambique, Namibia.
The president is in Mozambique to attend that Country’s 40th Independence Anniversary.
