Zambia National Soccer Team care taker coach, George Lwandamina, has selected the final squad that will travel to Namibia.
Lwandamina has dropped Zanaco goalkeeper, Toaster Nsabata, Boyd Mkandawire of Napsa, and Webster Mulenga of Nakambala, Benedict Chepeshi and Shadreck Malambo, both of Red Arrows and Moses Phiri of Zanaco.
Meanwhile, Danny Munyau, Jacob Mbanda, Fackson Kapumba, Paul Katema and Patson Daka are among the selected 18 for Lwandamina’s hoped victory squad.
This is according to a statement made available to ZANNIS Sports by FAZ Communications Manager, Nkweto Tebwe, on Thursday afternoon.
Zambia commences her campaign for a place at the 2016 Rwanda CHAN championships with an away fixture against Namibia at Independence Stadium in Windhoek on Sunday June 21, 2015.
Zambia will travel to Windhoek tomorrow Friday, June 19.
The CHAN Championships is a tournament designed by CAF to showcase local talent by participating countries where professional footballers are excluded from this tournament.
