Zambia and Angola have signed a memorandum of understanding for prisoners swap.
The agreement will facilitate the transfer of prisoners between the two countries.
According to the MoU, signed in Lusaka Wednesday the transfer of prisoners will take place on September 17, 2015.
One Zambian and 30 Angolan prisoners will be transferred across borders.
Home Affairs Deputy Minister, Gerry Chanda said the move is a sign of cordial bilateral relations that exist between the two countries.
Colonel Chanda says it is important that both countries continue enhancing collaboration in various areas.
Meanwhile Angolan Deputy Minister-Interior, Jose Bamokina Zau expressed gratitude for the mutual cooperation between the two countries.
