Guinea Bissau National Football Team Coach, Paolo Torres, has paid glowing tribute to the victims of the 1993 Gabon air disaster.
Torres says the team had exceptional talent and would have qualified and competed very well at the 1994 World Cup.
Speaking when his team visited the graveyard of the late Zambian heroes at Independence Stadium in Lusaka this morning, Torres said he felt touched to visit the site.
On Saturday, Guinea Bissau held Zambia to a goalless draw in the opening match of the Gabon 2017 Africa Cup qualifier at the Levy Mwanawasa stadium in Ndola.
Meanwhile, Tores, whose team left the country this afternoon has thanked Zambian authorities for the fantastic reception accorded to his team while in the country.
