”I have no apologies to make”, blame PF – HH

Opposition United Party for National Development (UPND) President Hakainde Hichilema says he has no apologies to make for directing his Members of Parliament not to support the enactment of a new constitution in piecemeal.

Mr. Hichilema says he has done nothing wrong by instructing his MPs not to support the enactment of the new constitution through Parliament, stating that the PF promised the people the enactment of a whole new constitution and not in piecemeal form.

Mr. Hichilema says what he is doing is in the best interest of the people of Zambia, stating that the country needs a new constitution.

 

The UPND Leader states that the PF should be blamed considering that four years of their being in power , the country is still in the dark as to whether a new constitution will be delivered to the Zambian people.

He says there is need for the people of Zambia to come together and hold the PF accountable for their failure to deliver a new constitution.

Mr. Hichilema says the UPND will not be part of any maneuvers by the PF not to deliver a new constitution which they promised to deliver within 90 days.

  7. Hh is always negative on all national issues becoz he is not s nationalist. As an opposition u dont nid to disagree with everything from the ruling goverbment.
