Defending champions Zesco United Football club has dislodged Zanaco and opened a two point lead of the FAZ/MTN super league table.
This is after they beat National Assembly one nil despite playing for 60 minutes with one man down.
This follows the sending off of Zesco’s , midfielder Misheck Chaila in the 30th minutes after a foul on National Assembly player.
The win has pushed the Ndola side to 20 points on top of the table, two better than Zanaco who draw one all against Nkana in Kitwe.
Zesco, who scored through Winston Kalengo in the 45th minute are still unbeaten going into the week nine fixtures played on Saturday.
Still in Lusaka, Red Arrows silenced Forest Rangers 3 nil, Police sponsored side Nkwazi beat Green Eagles two nil.
In Chililabombwe, Konkola Blades failed to use home ground advantage and allowed Power Dynamos to beat them by a goal to nil while in Chingola, Nchanga Rangers were beaten two-one by Napsa Stars.
In Mazabuka, Nakambala Leopards failed to impress at home as they were beaten one nil by visiting Green Buffaloes.
At Shinde stadium Mighty Mufulira Wanderers beat Lusaka Dynamos two nil.
